Protecting the Promise of Legalization in Florida
In 2026, Florida voters will once again face a defining question:
Should our state legalize adult-use marijuana — and if so, on whose terms?
In 2024, a similar amendment earned over 56% of the statewide vote — just shy of the 60% supermajority required to pass.
That’s more than 4.6 million Floridians voting yes, despite a lack of public education, confusing language, and corporate-funded narratives.
The 2024 defeat wasn’t a rejection of legalization.
It was a rejection of confusion, vague promises, and mistrust in the process.
What We’re Doing Now
At the Foundation for Voter Access, we’re not just watching the 2026 campaign unfold — we’re shaping it.
Our mission is clear:
Ensure that Florida’s path to legalization is transparent, accountable, and voter-driven — not handed off to monopolies or insiders.
Help us build a smarter, cleaner legalization campaign — and make sure every voice is heard.
